About Five Penny Piece

Hi there! We're Steven and Laura, a husband-and-wife team based in Wisconsin. Together, we run Five Penny Piece, where we create handcrafted geometric lanterns, dice lamps, and other laser-cut goods that bring warmth, character, and a little wonder into your space.

Our love for craftsmanship began as a mix of curiosity and necessity, working with our hands has always been part of our lives. With six children in tow, we're big believers that beauty and purpose should go hand in hand. When we're not in the workshop, you'll find us helping run our local bike shop or playing board games with friends and family.

Every piece in this shop is something we've personally designed, tested, and refined. We love blending modern tools with traditional care, cutting with precision, assembling by hand, and packaging each item with the same pride we'd have giving it as a gift.
